Following the first anniversary of the killing of Stephon Clark in Sacramento, Pastor Mike will speak on the role of organizing, faith leaders and institutions in healing and restoring fractured and traumatized communities
Pastor Mike is the Director for the LIVE FREE Campaign with the Faith in Action (formerly PICO National) Network which addresses gun violence and mass incarceration among young people of color. Pastor Mike was active in the Ferguson, Missouri demonstrations after the killing of Michael Brown, and in many subsequent demonstrations. He helps connect, train and support millennials, faith leaders and religious institutions working on racial justice.
